Does Lawlux act for companies?
Yes, Lawlux acts for companies throughout Australia.  Lawlux has experience in a range of industries including technology, retail, education, construction, maritime, finance and hospitality.

Does Lawlux act for individuals?
Yes, Lawlux acts as a trusted advisor to senior employees.

Lawlux advises senior employees on employment contracts, post-employment restraints, workplace conflicts, investigations, whistleblower disclosures, exit negotiations, disciplinary processes and workplace litigation.
Is Lawlux a law firm?
Yes, Lawlux is an incorporated legal practice registered with the Victorian Legal Services Board (registration number E0027451) and as a company under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

Lawlux holds an approved professional indemnity insurance policy with the Legal Practitioners’ Liability Committee.

Lawlux is also a participant in the Law Institute of Victoria’s professional standards scheme.  That scheme limits civil liability while ensuring high standards and ongoing improvement.
Is Lawlux a legal marketplace?
No, Lawlux is an Australian law firm that directly employs its lawyers.

This means that Lawlux can provide upfront pricing certainty, a consistently high standard of legal work, and quick turnarounds using its internally developed advice and document compilation technology.
Is Lawlux insured?
Yes, Lawlux is an incorporated legal practice that holds a professional indemnity insurance.
What are the payment options?
For legal documents through Lixo AI, Lawlux takes a credit card pre-authorisation and process payment once you receive your finalised legal document.

For legal document subscriptions through Lixo AI, Lawlux takes take a credit card pre-authorisation on the day your subscription is activated, and then charge your credit card in arrears each month.  To help with your business' cash flow, we don't charge the entire year in advance.

For legal advice, Lawlux generally invoices at the end of each milestone or otherwise on a weekly or monthly basis.
What area of law does Lawlux specialise in?
Lawlux currently specialises in Australian employment law.

Lawlux has aggressive growth plans to expand into other areas of law and to find new applications of its proprietary in-house large language models to deliver value and efficiency.
Where is Lawlux based?
Lawlux's registered office is at the top end of Collins Street at Level 30, 35 Collins Street.
Who are Lawlux's lawyers?
All of Lawlux's lawyers hold Australian legal practising certificates and are directly employed by Lawlux.

Culture is big here at Lawlux.  To build on that culture, Lawlux is selective with its lawyers and does not 'contract out' client work.

Lawyers who are technically exceptional have a ticket to play.  But alignment with our values is what will land a role.
