Ordinary hours

Ordinary hours are hours that an employee works, excluding overtime and within any parameters imposed by an applicable modern award or enterprise agreement. Eg the ordinary hours of a full time employee is 38 hours each week, and some modern award impose an ordinary spread of hours (ie 8am to 6pm).
