Our story

We asked businesses what they wanted from a law firm. Then we built it.

Dave spent 14 years acting for employers across Australia. He kept seeing the same three problems.

High legal risk

The law keeps getting more complex. Protecting a business takes tailored advice and documents, and cheap online templates only add to the risk.

Expensive

Legal help is billed by the hour, at partner rates of $600 to $900 or more. There was no way to ask even a simple question without paying.

Hard to reach

Finding a lawyer, becoming a client and getting a first draft usually took five business days or more.

So we asked, and kept asking

A question worth asking

We partnered with Symplicit, a leading Australian experience design agency, and sat with real businesses to design what they actually wanted from their lawyers.
