A technology-led law firm, built on human judgment.
A lawyer and an engineer started Lawlux to make exceptional legal help accessible.
Dave Burnton spent over a decade as an employment lawyer in leading firms in Melbourne and Sydney, acting for major employers across the country. He kept seeing the same thing. It is inherently unfair that employers, including large ones, have to pay just to understand employment law. It shouldn’t be this hard to run a business in Australia, where 2.5 million small and medium businesses make up 99% of all businesses and employ 8 million people, yet nearly half say their legal fees are too high.
So, rather than build on assumption, Dave and Andrew Yu sat down with real businesses to ask what they wanted from their lawyers. What followed was seven years of building. We are here to help clients save money and sleep well.

Up close, data. Step back, reassurance.
Look closely at the law and it is a blur of fragments, every Act and clause and decision scattered like dots on a canvas. Our technology gathers them, from legislation and over seventy thousand cases, refreshed every day. Our lawyers bring the judgment that composes them into something clear, strategic and human. Our logo already carries the dot.
A lawyer in your corner, a step ahead of legal risk.
